This program is designed for people who love nature and adventure. Together we will explore the Ecuadorian Andes by trekking one of the most beautiful extinct volcanoes in the world. Also, we will climb two of the highest mountains in Ecuador: Cotopaxi and Chimborazo Volcanoes! We will travel with certified guides, who have a wide knowledge of trekking, mountain climbing and Ecuadorian culture.

In order to adjust to the higher altitude in Ecuador, we will start with a trek up one of the lower peaks. The Altar is one of the most beautiful snow covered mountains in the country. Yellow Lagoon is inside the crater, and is covered by a beautiful hanging glacier. Our next adventure is the North Iliniza, a mountain without a glacier, although occasional it may have one. This mountain is not technically difficult. Our next goal is summiting the Cotopaxi Volcano via its south face. This route up the Cotopaxi is an amazing trek that is not as frequently climbed as its north face is. The south face of the volcano is less traveled, making it unique and therefore attractive to people who love solitary places. Finally, at 20,702 feet (6,300 m) the Chimborazo Volcano is the highest mountain of the Ecuadorian Andes. Due to its proximity to the equatorial line, at 6,384 km the top of the Chimborazo Volcano is the farthest point from the center of the Earth. This distance is 2.1 km further from the center of the earth then the top of Everest! On this trip you have the opportunity to be one of the few people who can claim they have trekked the furthest distance possible from the center of our planet!
