This unforgettable iconic 5-day hiking and biking trail stretches 60km as the crow flies, traversing the Peninsula Mountain Range, recently incorporated into the new Table Mountain National Park.
It is arguably one of the most scenic mountain and sea trails in the world. Part of the Cape Floral Kingdom, the most bio-diverse floral kingdom in the world, this home to large mammals such as the rare Cape Mountain zebra, baboon, and antelope species such as the bontebok, eland, along with numerous beautiful bird species.
Between the months of July and November the Peninsula Mountain Range also one of the best places on earth for land-based whale sighting. The walk provides stunning and dramatic views across “the two oceans”, the Atlantic Ocean and False Bay. It traverses beautiful white beaches and we bike along spectacular cliffs. The vistas are simply spectacular. Robben Island, the Cape Town city bowl, and the Winelands are all framed with sweeping views of the mountains across False Bay.
