The summit of Mount Roraima, the tallest of Venezuela's table mountains (tepuys), stands at 9,219 feet and is surrounded on all sides by 1,300-foot cliffs that drop into lush rain forest. One look and you’ll want to know what’s on top. That’s what this trek is all about. 

During this nine-day adventure on Venezuela’s southeast border with Brazil and Guiana, you'll climb Roraima and explore the rugged, awe-inspiring world hidden on its flat summit.
A 4-wheel drive vehicle will bring you to the Pemon Indian village of Parei-tepuy. For the next six days, you go on foot. You’ll ford the rivers Tek and Kukenan and climb a steep trail to Roriama’s summit. Fear not the many carnivorous plants, they only eat insects.
On top of the plateau, you’ll visit the stone pools of crystal clear water, known as “Los Jacuzzi,” look out at the vast rain forest below through a natural rock window known as “La Ventana,” and pass through the “Valley of Crystals,” where the ground is covered in gleaming quartz.
