Canada,  the second largest country in the world, offers diverse set of adventures that are for people who like to play hard. The Canadian Rockies, four million square miles of coastline, the untouched terrain and a number of rivers, lakes, glaciers in its topography make it a must-go destination for all adventure travelers.

Downhill riding adventures are encouraged in the Canada Olympic Park in Calgary and in Fernie, British Colombia.  Banff National Park is home to almost every adventure activity with more than 190 Kilometers of mountain bike trails and some of the best backcountry skiing in Canada. It is also home to Lake Louise Mountain Resort, one of the top skiing and snowboarding locations in North America and the Icefield Parkway, a top road biking route. If you want to bike on a mountain, the 350 km long Confederation Trail is where you should begin your ride. 

 

Those looking for a water adventure can go boating on the Rideau Canal, go rafting in the South Nahanni River, dive in the Emerald Sea and go sea kayaking in the Clayquot Sound.  The Magpie River in Quebec, offers one of the top 10 white water rafting adventures in the world. Canada is also home to some of the best fresh water and ice fishing, an essential stop for any true angler to experience. The Georgian Bay, Rough Rock Lake, and the entire province of Manitoba provide a wealth of fishing adventure.
