The country of Venezuela has been consistently billed as one of the best countries for an adventure traveler to visit. Skiing for the adventure enthusiast is an option at the Cordillera de Merida peaks. These peaks have a special distinction because they have a snowline throughout the year. But, be warned – skiing here is not for the faint-hearted.

You can experience the Venezuelan life just laying around on the beach on Margarita Island. One off the path adventure trip you must do when you are in Venezuela is to ride in the highest cable car in the world, which runs from the city of Merida to the top of the Espejo Peak, a height of over 15,600 feet!
