However, the greatest adventure of South Africa lies in its waters. At Gansbaai, which is near Cape Town, you can be a true adventurer and try your hand at shark diving. Even the most hardcore of adventure travelers are sobered when they see the great white sharks passing within meters of their bodies. The Orange River is a challenging location where you can go canoeing and whitewater rafting.  Also, Boulders Beach is a great spot to relax after a few days of adventure; African Penguins walk right next to you while you lie out in the sun.
